Wanakam invites you to the second edition of Island Voices — an intimate evening of conversation, storytelling and community, exploring the many identities, histories and lived experiences that shape Sri Lanka and its global diaspora. We’ll begin the evening around the table with the option of a traditional Sri Lankan yellow rice parcel dinner (plant-based), wrapped in banana leaf, by Curry O’Clock. The menu will be yellow rice, fried aubergine and ash plantain Curry (kaliya), dhal Curry, slow-cooked jackfruit Curry, stir-fried potatoes and papadams.
